Jake Hanks is a great counselor! He provided wonderful caring support for our family in a very difficult trying time. He worked with our schedule and was available even when we had last minute emergencies. I would recommend him to any family in need. He is great for all ages! Thanks! We could not have gotten through it with out you!

I highly, highly recommend Jake. My tween-aged son did not want to go to counseling. Jake found a way to connect with him through their shared interest in music. My son has shown tremendous progress; it’s been wonderful to see his funny and engaging personality re-emerge. Jake is professional, empathetic and effective!

Jake has assisted my law firm with trauma based counseling and evaluation for many clients seeking hardship based immigration relief, usually in regard to the effects of potential family separation. His evaluations are always highly descriptive, articulate and clinically astute, and everyone I know who has sought treatment or evaluation with him has come away remarkably pleased. Not only does he provide a high quality service but he also exhibits a passion for helping people and addressing their needs and concerns in a kind and respectful manner. I highly recommend Jake and Next Breath Counseling.

Dan is an incredibly gifted healer, who meets folks where they are at, and skillfully guides them beyond the reason they are even coming to counseling to places of wholeness, health and wisdom. I highly recommend Next Breath Counseling

Dan is a very positive and tentative person in my life. I value his time and insight. He is family. I laugh, cry, and feel comfortable doing so. J.King

Amazing! Next level therapy focusing on meditation and releasing resistance instead of delving deep into your past to identify issues. The "issues" just seem to melt away once you understand how to breathe and stop so much self judgement. Life changing after my first session!!

Dan is incredibly compassionate, I am inspired by his knowledge and how much he invests in the community. He offers free and donation-based presentations to support all community members, volunteers with Yampah Mountain High, and mentors folks like me to reach their greatest potential in the helping profession.

I would highly recommend Dan to any clinician looking for post-degree supervision. His depth of knowledge and experiential wisdom is something we all aspire to reach. Additionally, his authentic care for people is evident not only in how he conducts himself as a practitioner but also how he carries himself in life and in our community. Five stars!
